Meet Bilkis. Bilkis is my sister-in-law. She’s a nurse by profession. She always dreamt of studying the culinary arts but since it was looked upon as a subject that could only lead to becoming a housewife, she opted for nursing instead. I’ve tasted some of her West African dishes and they’re delicious so I decided to share them with you, with her permission. She’s originally from Takoradi, her mom was from Mali, but has moved to Tamale, Ghana.
